Youth Should Embrace the Vision of Self-Reliance, Says CEO Education Kousar Saleem

Jhelum… A grand ceremony celebrating the vision of Allama Iqbal was hosted at SLS College. The event was graced by CEO Education Kousar Saleem as the chief guest, who inspired attendees with her address, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance for the youth, as envisioned by Allama Iqbal.

In her speech, she commended SLS College for eliminating the need for students in the region to travel to Islamabad for IELTS preparation, thanks to its exceptional facilities. She stressed the importance of incorporating physical activities alongside education to cultivate positive thinking among students. She also congratulated Managing Director Sarfaraz Malik for earning accolades from the British Council for outstanding results in IELTS.

During his address, MD Sarfaraz Malik shared the history and remarkable achievements of SLS College. He recounted his visit to Cambridge, UK, where he paid homage to the residence of Allama Iqbal, highlighting the national poet’s stay there during 1905-1906 and his enduring legacy of passionate speeches.

The event concluded with the Chief Guest and MD SLS presenting certificates to students who excelled in courses, including the UK Marriage A1 English Test, IELTS, B1, Computer, and Spoken English. As a token of appreciation, MD Sarfaraz Malik presented a commemorative souvenir to the Chief Guest.

SLS College stands as the only B2B Gold Partner and award holder of the British Council in the Jhelum district. Notably, an SLS student achieved an 8.5 band score in IELTS, the highest in Pakistan.
